It depends what you need this for. I would not recommend it for its intended use (headset). But, I use creatively for the mic, not earpiece (haven't tried). I think of it as a mic on a flexible stalk, with a pretty long cord, with a plastic hangy piece (designed to go over your ear--I wouldn't want to) which may help you attach it to something else. If you ever wanted to pull off the mic stalk from a headset for a custom purpose, this is for you. My main concern now is durability. Mic good but faces straight, stalk long/flexible, cord a little thin but not the worst I've seen. Buying another for my project. It's odd, but accidentally potentially useful.
