I bought 2 of these for Christmas. Pros: These are the most stable helicopters I have ever used. (my experience is with the < $40 range) Nice solid construction. Serviceable if you have replacement parts. Cons: I cannot find how to change the Band/ Frequency so that I can fly 2 at once. After a significant crash one of the landing gear broke. I would like to know where I can get replacement parts. I'm very please with the exception of not knowing how to change the band.

Pros: The battery lasts a decent amount of time. Most helicopters at this level can not move left/right without turning, so that's a big plus. None of these things are durable, but this is among those that are better. The power plug is easier to use than most. It's a straight plug instead of a mini-wire harness. Cons: moving left and right is on/off. You can't choose how fast, like up/down, and turning. it turns obnoxiously fast, which makes it a bit harder to control. That could be also seen as a plus though. I still give it a good score. The LED on the front is crazy bright. It almost hurts to look at. If you are looking for a toy helicopter that is in the lower price range. This is a very good choice. The Syma 107G is also a good choice, which is more controllable, but slower and can't move side to side. If this is your first helicopter expernience, plan on going through a few of these before you stop destroying them.

….to control it more like a real helicopter since they added the thruster to make it fly more like a real helicopter. Overall, very pleased. To the guy asking about changing channels – you can’t – the channel on the helicopter is fixed. You have to ask for a specific channel when you buy to deconflict. They may or may not oblige.

I've gotten a number of different small helicopters from Meritline and so far this is my favorite. It is extremely stable and well-built. I was looking forward to the capability to slide left and right, more like a real helicopter than the usual dual-rotor pseudo helicopters that sell for cheap. A huge plus is that it actually has yaw trim (so you can adjust the zero point so it doesn't keep turning about the vertical axis so you don't have to keep holding in a turn to counter it). I also like the power connector better than the other. It also comes with a USB charging cable which is another plus. The only negative I have is that the side thrusters that control the left and right slide (what would be left and right cyclic on a helicopter) are not on the main control stick like a real helicopter; they are push buttons on top. The left and right yaw is on the main control stick. This is not a problem if you are used to these toy helicopters, but it would have been nice to con
