The camera resolution is NOT 800x600, the box clearly states that the sensor is 300K (640x480), thus anything above that is done via software. Although, I must say, the quality is not bad for webcam use. The main problem I have with the camera is it has developed green/pink vertical lines. At first they would disappear when you flick the camera, but now they are permanent. I suspect poor build quality; this is most evident from the USB cable: it is unshielded and is very thin, just like what you see in $1 earbuds. Not recommended. I wouldn't pay more than %5 for it again.

Camera works OK but can't synchronize sound with video. They are 2-3 seconds apart.
