Just arrived in the mail today, so I haven't had a lot of time to test it. It works with my iphone 3G (one of my concerns, given how many products claim they work with the 3G but don't). I charged the batter with a wall socket, not the solar charger (didn't feel like waiting). The thing has an input light to tell you when the solar charger is working, the brighter the light the more its charging. My only complaint is that when plugged into the iphone, the solar panel is on the back of the phone. So to use the solar panel and the phone at the same time, I would either need a light thats on the ground or hold the phone above my head.

I have been using this product for a little over a week now and it is utter crap. Out of the box there are absolutely no instructions. I plugged it in, and got really excited as it charged my phone at roughly the same rate as plugging it into my computer. In about 20 minutes however the product died. No worries, I let it sit out in the sun for about an hour. Bright sunlight charged it some and I plugged it into my phone which charged up 10% in an hour and the device died again. I let this thing sit in the sun for 5 hours in bright sunlight and it charges my phone 2% now. I’m guessing the internal battery can’t hold a charge. Also when plugged into the phone you would think it could convert and charge the phone, well that certainly doesn’t work either. Be wary there may be a lot of DOA’s with this. I’m attempting to RMA. The order this came in had a missing item and they refunded me so I’m hoping I can do the RMA smoothly!

got it the first day and it overheated and now theres a hole in the middle of it... product no good -=X
