    Features

Smooth and sleek design meets robust sound with the Giiq™ headphones. The 30MM drivers pump the bass while neodymium magnets deliver rich, full sound. Made to look as good as they sound, these headphones also feature a cush headband, soft ear pads, and a slick skinned cord with a splash of color.

  • Robust sound
Hi-Fi without the heft. The 30MM drivers push bass while neodymium, the strongest permanent magnet known to humankind, delivers crystal clear, robust sound.
  • Smooth detail
Like a slick tire, Giiq™ phones have a smooth shape all over. Even the hinges are simplified and covered in elastomer to let the breeze fly by while also reducing hair jams. Details galore are found at every angle of this piece.
  • Padded comfort
Padding in all the right places – soft ear pads and a cush headband. Whether they’re on the head for listening or around the neck in waiting, if they’re comfortable, you’ll rock’em more often.
  • Slick cord
Slick skinned with a splash of color, the flat cord on Giiq™ headphones challenges the idea that a cord is purely for function. Slide your fingers down the flat surface and tell us we’re wrong.

Hate to disagree with the other reviewers, but I found these fairly uncomfortable. The majority of the padding is on the outside of the headband, where it does you no good. Padding inside is almost nonexistent, and there are five stiff raised bumps that make it even less comfortable. If you have thick hair, you may not mind... but I'm bald, and I could feel the hard headband and the stiff bumps all too well. Also, I found the phones very tight--my ears were sore after watching a 90-minute movie with these, and there's no way to adjust that. Since they're entirely made of plastic, you can't bend them for a less head-clamping fit, the way you can phones with a metal headband. The sound is OK, but because of their poor comfort level, I can't recommend these.

I have one of this from SONY store. If you want accurate sound reproduction, this is for you. The bass is good but not heavy. The padding is very good especially when not in use and placed over the neck.

Cable is pretty short. Otherwise a great pair of headphones.

A nice change from ear buds. I found very soft and very light and very good sound. I'm not an audiophile, so keep that in mind with my 5 star rating.

Outstanding Headphone. It is so light you sometimes forget you have it on. Sound is great and I use it on my laptop, iPad and Android phone.

I purchased these through Meritline for use by my 5 year old son. We have a Honda Pilot with an entertainment center and on very long trips we allow him to watch DVDs. Headphones were always a problem. They didn't fit well or were too hard for his ears, etc. These headphones are very soft inside and out. They cup his ears gently and there has been no complaints. I checked them and the sound through them seemed very good though I never used them for extended periods. I would strongly recommend these for kids for use in a car, with a PC educational game, or to listen to music.

I have had neodymium drivers before. They have excellent sound reproduction without getting muddy because of too much bass. I saw a comment about them not being comfortable because they are not adjustable. Not true. There is moderate pressure on the ear - always is with ear top headsets - but they slide in and out of the padding without trouble for adjustment, and lessening of the pressure. Just realize that ear tops allow outside sound to be heard while you have them on - they don't "cup" your ears and block outside sound. Only fault is the short cord.

I been using this amazing headphone for 3 months so far. Why amazing? Price, qualities, stylish, and felling. You better buy one then you know why. Thump UP.

Got it for under $20, which was a great deal. The headphone is quite comfortable, as long as I wear it slightly forward (i.e. not directly over my outer ears). Some headphones are very sensitive to how you wear them; this one doesn't. I mostly listen to pop and classical music, so super-strong bass is not a top priority for me. Overall sound is very balanced and neutral. I like it a lot. There may be better headphones for around $40, but for under $20 these are hard to beat. I would not hesitate to buy it again if it's on sale.
