Got these for Xmas. They work surprisingly well, love the one-handed operation. The only issue is balance: being tall, with a narrow base, they'll tip over easily. But easily grabable, easy grinding, very nice.

isn't the one from the picture, good quality made but cheezy. I would not have order this one if I knew they would ship a different one.

These work great, bought 2, salt and pepper. Easy to disassemble for cleaning. I don't know who doesn't wash brand new unused items that they will be eating from! Seems though that the upper metal sleeve over the clear plastic has come a little loose on one, but still works great. Operation is nice,and with some sea salt, it works wonderfully. The one hand operation and being made from stainless (I forget why I don't like an aluminum grinder . . . something about remembering stuff) is what sold me. Good heft to them, and seem like the will last a while. Probably will order more as backups if the salt ever gets the better of the stainless. The spring is exposed, but gives it a cool look. Only downside was the shipping delay, but hey it was free shipping.

There are two pictures listed on the web page. They look like they are the same exact product. They are not. When I bought this I thought I was going to get the one with the spring hidden inside. I did not get that one. It is not cheaply made like the other customer said. But one of mine is dirty inside and I am not happy about that. Best you wash them out... totally hoping it is not rodent poop. But since that thought had accord to me and looks like it they will be bleached before I ever use them. 3 for not being clean and not the same product as picture shown. Same as the little pictures not the main picture.

Pleasantly suprised with the quality of this. Grind size is not adjustable but the size is good. This works great for cooking with the one handed operation and I keep it by the stove.
