I was rather surprised at how well this thing worked! The manual isn't in the best English ever, but for many cars that do not have Steering-Wheel buttons, but have an after-market stereo with an IR remote this is a very nice accessory. The accuracy is VERY good, I seldom miss, this absolutely works on a Kenwood double-dinn. This is also very cheap, a lot cheaper than a modulator would cost (the equipment which you need to wire an after market head-unit to your stock car's steering wheel buttons). I was looking for something like this for a looooooong time; and Kenwood makes NONE even as accessories, so this is great! If this works with Pioneer it would also be a fraction of the price of their remote... Have to tinker with some of the buttons, but thus far volume up/down work, track forward & back work, play/pause work, and source works. Very happy w/the price/product; my first review from many purchases.... Thanks Meritline!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say that I was rather surprised at how well this thing worked! The manual isn't in the best English ever, but for many cars that do not have Steering-Wheel buttons, but have an after-market stereo with an IR remote this is a very nice accessory. The accuracy is VERY good, I seldom miss. I haven't gone through a battery life-cycle yet, so I can't comment on that, but this absolutely works on a Kenwood double-dinn. This is also very cheap, a lot cheaper than a modulator would cost (the equipment which you need to wire an after market head-unit to your stock car's steering wheel buttons). I was looking for something like this for a looooooooooooong time; and Kenwood makes NONE even as accessories, so this is great! If this works with Pioneer it would also be a fraction of the price of their remote, but I am not sure if it does or not. Works great for me! Used on Sony head unit and it learned all commands just fine. Would be nice if it held into slots with a positive lock but that's pretty minor.
