Just wanted to add in addition to my last review that I just compared this 10-footer to the 5-footer. The 10-footer has a thicker cable, and mini TRS terminator grip is considerably thicker. Thicker cable probably there to help w/voltage drop of longer length. Thicker grip denotes intent for heavier-duty use than the all-around thinner (but still serviceable) 5-footer. Grips on RCA end are a little thicker, too. Possibly made in different factory. This is the higher quality product. I do wish they sold this higher quality version at different lengths. Depends on your application (I have need for both). Both are good; no problems on either, but I guess that justifies the price increase of the 10-footer. 5-footer is a greener purchase, using fewer resources, also cheaper for that reason. 10-footer is for enthusiasts or awkward locations. Again, I hope they offer multi-packs and different lengths of this one futurely.

After buying one & trying it, bought a 2nd one, plus a 3-pack of the 5 ft ones. Product does not appear to be aimed at hi-fi, no apparent shielding or anything, but cables and terminators are thick, and nothing seems weak. My sound quality seems just fine running it from computer or MP3 player to stereo. No noise or any kind of problems. This seems to be a solid no-frills product aimed at low-end but delivering good overall quality, good enough for hi-fi use which I do use it for. BTW I reserve 5 stars exceptional things. Hard to find nice long RCA adapter cables; they're needed more w/computer and portable players being common. Often your stuff's just too far away from your amp. These seem a bit overpriced when compared w/the price of a 3-pack of 5-footers, but they're cheap anyway, and more useful. If you only get one, get this if u have a portable or think you'll need the length.

Product is as advertised. Good quality, the jacks are not gold plated, but for the money, they are worth it. I bought more than one. The only con is that it ships from China so it takes a few weeks to get them. But I would buy again from Meritline.com. Good online store with allot of products at good prices!

Horrible waste of money, do not buy. The metal connectors on the white and red cables are horribly made and broke off and are stuck inside my stereo's A/V inputs now. It's not even solid metal! There's a pink solid substance inside the metal connectors where it broke off. Ridiculous waste of money, go find a better product from somewhere else.

The wires on this 10ft. cable I got are pretty darn thin, and the same thickness of the 5 ft. one I got from Meritline, so I guess some people get different cables based on the reviews. The black wire insulation disconnected from the phone jack housing within a matter of days. It's been working for at least a month though, despite its fragility. Worth the sale price for me.

Try to save some money by getting a cheap cable for my mp3 to receiver connection, a cable is a wire, conduct electronic signal, how bad it can be? Guess I am wrong... Background noise plus the distortion just make it useless. I bought it for a buck, not worth to postage to return it. Lessen learned.
