Cool! This one works. Blue when cold, green when warm and red when hot. When the water was excessively hot, mine was flashing red, not blue and red. Remember, there are no batteries required. The only negative is that it comes with no faucet thread adapter so you may need to visit your local plumbing store. Overall this is truly a great product for safety.

I can`t understand the the trouble that Edward and Johnathan had. This is my second one and both fit perfectly on a Delta and an American Standard faucet and work great. The only complaint that I have is a minor one. In the more shallow bathroom sink the angle of the water causes a little more splash than I would like. If this thing had an aerator it would be perfect.

Overall I am happy with it. It will bring you greater satisfaction if you install it with Swivel-Faucet-adapter ~$4 from walmart, and use the swivel part of it. It makes a little more winding noise then battery-powered unit due to the dynamo inside, but its not too noticeable. Most likely it will outlast the battery-powered units. The plastic adapter are very finicky, so if you could need to use better (brass) adapters or the adapters from the walmart swivel kit I mention at the beginning. I like and I think the colors are the most appropriate then other similar units. Blue=cold, Green=go, Red=be aware, Flashing RED=stop.

Unfortunately, the "universal" adapter on the end that screws into the faucet is maybe a tenth of a millimeter too big... so, it doesn't screw in properly, and when I turned on the faucet to test it out, the entire assembly shot out and sent high-pressure water splashing everywhere. At least for the three or so seconds it was in there, it *did* turn on. Oh, well. What can you expect?

I bought this about 7 months ago, and I attached it to my bathroom faucet without any problems. It still works great, even though it can be a bit loud. The kids know when the water is too hot, and I don't have to replace any batteries.

i had a little prob at first cause it would not fit in but it was only because there was a little piece left of the other one. When i got rid of it, it fitted right in it works good but make a lot of noise cause of the turbine principle that makes the light but all in all and for the price a really good product.

Terrible, Do not order. Just like the reviewer above stated, screwed it in, turned on the water and 9 times out of ten it blew off. I was concerned it would hurt somebody or something if I left it installed. I have removed the product and would not use it again.

Okay so it's kinda cool. Blue cold, Green warm, Red hot, alternates between one and another while water is warming up. But...couple things you should know. This has large output holes like a sprayhead, and the water comes out with a bit of force because of that. If you have good water pressure and a not very deep sink, don't buy this because it will splash everywhere. I have a really deep sink so it's not a big issue but does still splash too much because I have really good pressure. They should make this in aerator style not spray head style and it would be much better. Also, after 3 months (and I am single and don't use water all that much) it's failing already, the lights don't always come on or are delayed a minute after turning it on. Based on the above I can't recommend this unless you can get it on sale for like 3 bucks...it is DEFINITELY NOT worth 7 bucks. As others have said it's plastic and it IS tricky to get it threaded on correctly so BE CAREFUL and do not force it!
