    The W307R is a 300Mbps Wireless-N router, wireless access point, four-port switch, and firewall all-in-one.

    Utilizing advanced MIMO technology, WLAN range is double that of 802.11g products. The W330R also provides WDS (Wireless Distribution System), enabling the bridging of other wireless routers and extending wireless coverage.

    Plenty of features are bundled to better secure and manage a network, including; port and MAC address filters, WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), QoS bandwidth control, and the ability to disable SSID broadcast. Management from anywhere is conveniently accomplished through a web interface, and a Tenda-developed setup wizard makes installation easy for anyone.

    The W307R is a good choice for small or home offices in search of a fast, secure, easy-to-use, and feature-rich wireless network.

Tenda W307R. I used the web-based setup instead of the Tenda CD. This is my 5th soho WiFi router and found the config menus of this brand (my first Tenda) comparable to other brands. Though some of the dialogue was Chinglish, it wasn't too difficult to comprehend. I set mine up with typical WPA2-Personal/AES. It recognized my Verizon DSL modem right away. First impression after 2 days of use is positive. My 'N'-capable media streamers had no problem finding, connecting to (and staying connected) to the Tenda. No disconnects so far and playback pauses from my media server are very rare. None of my laptop PC's (one is XP, the other Vista) are 'N' so I don't know what speeds they're seeing. But with the Tenda's TX-Power setting at 65%, they get 4-5 bars and steady 54Mbps connections throughout my house (2,000 SF). Unit also features secondary SSID, AP isolation, and WDS. Tenda W307R follow-up review. It's running a month now with zero issues. I like that the TX power can be modified and that it has a secondary ssid. My wireless clients (2 PC's and 2 media streamers) like it: no drops or disconnects. I want to get a NetTalk voip product but I won't know how well the Tenda will work with it. Beyond that, I guess the only question is, how long will it last? The warranty's effective for 1 year, which is bettter than I expected for something in this range.

I have been in networks for over 20 years and for the price this router is unbeatable. It's highly configurable for the advanced user and simple for the average users. I was so impressed that I order two more for clients. Wireless range is great. Faster then my present N router. Shipping was great for both orders.

Hooked this up in place of my older 802.11g wireless router int he same place and off the same connection. I got slightly worse range, slightly worse speed, and worse reception overall with this unit. I tried it with Xbox and a laptop computer. I won't return it because shipping back will require half the cost of the refund. Will keep as an emergency backup only or just a wired router.

I have tried numerous routers and this one by far works better with plenty of options to customize the settings. I installed this in May of 2011 and it has worked flawlessly. Good wireless range too.

Man, I tried everything and spent too much quality time on the net trying to figure this thing out. Wouldn't communicate with the modem, changed settings, changed ip addresses, firewalls,reset, researched, manually put in all addresses, reset and nothing. Contacted Meritline and they referred me to Tenda for refund. No send back to Meritline. Nuts. Well, since I got it at such a discounted price it's just not worth sending it back, shipping costs or pursuing it further. I've had other Tenda products with great results. Non-functioning router.

Easy to setup for the home user and LOTS of technical extras for the network guys ;-) even with bandwidth clamping :-) Mine was setup in no time and is now feeding everything in the house. Excellent little router for the amount it cost. This is my second one of these, the last one I left in the last house I lived in as that was in the UK.

Installed it yesterday. Had difficulty with using install disk wizard. Instead used web based interface. Like the fact that it has 2 SSIDs, so I set up the primary with a new SSID using WPA2-PSK and the secondary with WEP to accomodate an old TiVo, and all the devices that have been setup with that SSID over the years. Will check range and report back. Hope to get another at the discounted price to connect 2 TiVos together at a higher throughput without spending $89 for a TiVo wireless adapter.

Used this for 6 months now,works well. Did not try WDS bridging yet(original reason for purchase). Coverage seems good-my Logitech Revue mediaplayer streams Youtube HD(1080p) over wifi from the other side of the house (maybe 60ft thru 1 floor and 1 wall) smoothly(no pauses or jerkiness), all other computers don't show any sign of disconnect or glitchiness. Easy to set up(only wait 10 seconds for changing any item,Asus RT-N12 takes about 1 min each item,annoying). Recently heard about the WPS security flaw(google Reaver or WPScrack), I've confirmed that disabling WPS on this router does stop this. Wish this had USB ports for external network storage or printer server-would pay more for this(are you listening Tenda?)Very happy with this purchase.
