The TL-WA500G 54M eXtended RangeTM Wireless G Access Point is dedicated to Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) wireless network solutions. It is designed to establish a scalable wireless G network or to connect Ethernet enabled devices to an existing wireless network. It allows for greater range and mobility within your wireless network while also allowing you to connect the wireless devices to a wired environment. Increased mobility and the absence of cabling will be beneficial for your network.

The TL-WA500G 54Mbps Wireless Access Point complies with the IEEE 802.11g/b standards and adopts eXtended Range™ technology so that transmission range is 4 times that of traditional 11g/b solutions.

Supports AP Client, Bridge, Repeater and AP operation modes to enable various wireless applications to give users a more dynamic and comprehensive experience when using their AP. PoE Supported - More Flexible Deployment
The TL-WA500G is able to be powered using an Ethernet cable to simultaneously send data and electricity to wherever your AP may be located even up to 100 feet away. This feature multiplies your options allowing you to place the AP in a position that is most convenient to get the best signal possible, such as on the wall or on the ceiling of your office.
WPA / WPA2 Encryptions - Advanced Security
As for the security of WI-FI connection, WEP encryption has been no longer the strongest and safest guards for outside threats. TL-WA500G provides WPA/WPA2 encryptions (Both Personal and Enterprises) that are created by the WI-FI Alliance industry group, promoting interpretabilities and security for WLAN.
Detachable Antenna - Upgradeable to Your Desire
TL-WA500G offers 4dBi high gain external antenna that can be rotated and adjusted in different directions to fit various operation environments. For even more demanding applications, such as long distance transmission, the antenna can be replaced with higher gain antennas to show even greater flexibility and wider wireless range
