It can work with G + N simultaneously, but is not "Dual Band" because it only operates on 2.4 ghz.

The difference between this router and the Actiontec router that Verizon provided with FIOS service is night-and-day. Very strong wifi signal and works perfectly with the iPods, iPads, laptops and a Droid phone. It also does not have the 1k NAT table limitation like Actiontec, so torrent download is very fast. Highly recommended, especially consider the price.

Great product, DD-WRT compatible and working great ever since I installed it. I was waiting for a router with gigabit connections so I could have a full gigabit network and this product was the key. Thanks!

The router was easy to install although the install CD that came with the product was not very useful. The signal range within the home is solid with fewer dark spots & the wireless speed was much better than my older router. In addition, the router didn't require any reset/restart over the last 1-month I have had it which was typical for my old router. Finally, I would have to liked to see more features around QoS, multiple SSID, etc. to manage users/traffic within my household.

Nice, easy to use admin console. It allows for firmware upgrades and has plenty of memory and support for DD-WRT, although I have found no flaws with the latest stock firmware. While this router works great, it is not a dual-band router. This operates in the 2.4Ghz range. If you use an older 2.4Ghz cordless phone you could get wireless disconnects when using the phone. It may be time to get a new 5.8Ghz or a DECT phone if that is the case. I did the initial firmware upgrade to the latest version right out of the box and I have had no drops since. It took a couple of reboots to get all my settings in place and has been flawless since. I am using two older 802.11g adapters as well as two different 802.11n adapters along with two PS3 consoles in a split level 1700sq/ft home with no problems. It worked out of the box by simply following the enclosed instructions.

It has worked with 100% reliability at the expected speeds. (I'm only using this as a wireless access point for my network.) Two cons... the dd-wrt software makes the maximum wireless speed about 5MB/s vs. about 8MB/s with the factory firmware. Also, flashing back to factory firmware is cumbersome. (You need to telnet into your router to access files on a usb drive attached to it and to have a familiarity with Linux commands)
