This works fine for me with one exception: you can't put the cover on when the sd card is in place like other SD to thumbdrive devices. I like to carry this around in my pocket and don't even own a thumb drive since all my equipment runs of SD and SDHC cards. However, the card isn't protected if you carry it in your pocket inserted and it is easy to lose if the card is loose in your pocket. If you don't plan on carrying it around like a thumb drive and just use it when a need arises, this shouldn't be a problem.

This product was recognized by both XP, and Win7, but would not read any card I inserted in it in either machine. Being that it only cost me 7-d cents, it's not worth sending back. I don't recommend wasting your time.

Picked this up for under a buck, shipped. Works fine. It's a bit chunky (wide), will easily cover the USB port next to it. I see myself quickly losing the plastic caps covering both the USB and the SD/mSD slot.

Sheds its plastic case very quickly, but it works perfectly. For under $1, that's all you can expect. Not a speed demon, and not great looking (especially once the bare board is exposed), but has all the essentials at the right price.

Item was shipped from Singapore. Look softer than it appears. Both caps do not fit well. Packaging is paper and look cheap. I turned around and order Kingston card reader.

Great price on an SD reader. It supports SDHC cards and has no problem reading those with 4GB or larger capacity. The dust caps are a bit flimsy and will not stay on for long if you carry it around in your pocket but that's a minor issue.
