I got the green version of this, and it works great. Runs as fast as the SD card will allow. I ordered several, and they all work well. I want to give this five stars, but for a few oddities: There is only one hole, and it's in the cap. So there's no secure way to attach the lanyard. And if you do attach the lanyard, the reader part (with your memory card inside) is still free to fall off. SD card will likely come out every time you pull this reader out of your computer. Plastic is of poor quality (very brittle) but easy to glue back to together. Packed in a ridiculously huge and durable plastic box for such a small product. Probably why they can't afford to make the reader out of good plastic.

Device works fine, however, despite what the image shows, they is literally no way to attach the lanyard to the reader or reader cap. The only solution I found was to push the loop through the hole in the cap, lasso the reader and close the cap down, trapping the device. This is a big miss for a 'portable' device that one would normally put on a key chain.
