As far as I can tell this is the same as the Griffin charger and it does put out at least 1 amp per jack. The issue with this adapter is how short it is which makes it not connect on some cigarette lighter sockets. On our van in one spot it fit and worked fine, in the other I had to break off the outer ring so I could push it in all the way in to make contact, which makes it hard to get out.

Would not work with my HTC Rezound. A warning pops up that on my phone that charging with it may damage the phone. This usually happens with chargers that have poor voltage regulation and allow the voltage to be wander a little too high. Some phones don't warn about higher than spec charging voltage so be wary.
