Awesome! This plasma ball reminds me of the larger one that I purchased from a major electronics retailer about 20 years ago. It was cool then and it is STILL COOL NOW! Well worth the money.

Exactly as described. Powered by USB connection. Not well packed in the original box, my first one was damaged but it was replaced by Meritline.com. Very pleased. A cool useless gadget.

The plasma effect was not very bright on the unit I received and has gotten much worse over the last few days. You can hardly see anything now. Cool idea, but I can't recommend this product because of the low intensity and short life.

This is really cool and works great. It arrived safely in sturdy packaging. Seems like it's decently built, works fine right out of the box. Effects are at least as good as the images. The cat is totally captivated by it. The only thing I'm not completely thrilled about is that the power comes from a standard USB plug at one end, but at the plasma ball end of it has a cylinder plug and not a mini USB plug. Don't lose that cord!
