Device works exactly as advertised. User interface for the software leaves a bit to be desired (awkward language translation) but once I figured it out it works like a champ! I've mounted it in the basement of our vacation home in Maine and hooked it to an internet-enabled server to monitor house temperature. I have it email me real-time temperature reports every two hours. We use the house all four seasons so the heat is on (but set low) when we are not there. If I run out of propane I'm anticipating that I'll get early warning of this by noting the temperature drop in the emails. I think I can set the software to send me alarm alert emails only rather than periodic emails, but I haven't figured that out yet. Would've been 5 stars if the software was easier to use.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Just what I wanted! works great. For the price, you cannot beat it. Tracked my furnace output temp. and it gives me visibility for energy saving. Software writes CSV file for EXCEL analysis and it actually works.
