This cable is used to connect an A/V source to an HDTV via the USB source input. Western Digital hard drives can be paired with their media player and connected to an HDTV via this cable to give you an enormous amount of media at your fingertips. Please keep your cooking advice to yourself if you don't know what you're talking about.

This didn't work for my purpose. You cannot just use this to plug into your non-digital video camera and transfer video to your computer. I wasn't sure it would work but took the chance for the price. Since it was my misunderstanding I rated it neutral.

I see the description, don't know the function. However I am sure this thing is trouble. Get the crisco out - looks like something is going to fry.
