Q: Does USB TO IDE Adapter support very old HDD

1GB HDD?
A: Basically there are 2 types of mode of those very old HDD
as PIO mode and DMA mode. If
your HDD is DMA mode, then USB TO IDE Adapter can support it. If your HDD is
PIO mode,
then it can not be detected by USB TO IDE Adapter. In other words, USB TO IDE
Adapter
supports DMA/UDMA mode HDD, but does not support PIO mode HDD.
