I purchased this USB Travel Charger Power AC Adapter Plug because of its compact design. However, its build quality is so poor. I didn't get chance to charge once because its usb port is too big to fit regular USB cable. Threw it away.

This thing is rubbish, it did not even fit into any standard sockets and when I forced it in, my iPad and my iTouch both did not charge!

I bought these for use with the ipad2. The good news is that the ipad registers itself as charging when connected with a USB cable into this charger. The bad news is that while plugged into the charger the touchscreen on the ipad becomes highly inaccurate preventing you from tapping on the right parts of the screen. This behavior goes away as soon as you unplug the ipad and then reappears when plugged in suggesting the charger is to blame. It's not worth the risk wasting your time or your device's battery on this charger.

Works to charge the batteries for the USB devices that I've used it with (none are Apple - none have complicated "recognition" circuitry which may prevent operation). The forms factor (shape) is much more convenient (for packing) that most of my other generic USB chargers. Much more compact. Dual voltage (110/220). What's not to like?!

Very nice, compact size, bought for my "tomtom 540 TM" GPS, received and plugged in, worked perfectly, do not need to boot my pc to recharge my GPS. I like it very much, price is affordable.

Works fine out of the package, took the usual 'forever' to get here (3+ weeks) when you order China Warehouse stuff. Plugged right into a Touch, charged perfectly and very compact - about the size of 2 thick packs of matches.
