Meritline.com Verified Buyer Works great. I am using with an add on USB 3.0 PCIe Card. My computer would not shut down after installing Card and Hub. I had to open the Device manager Select -VIA USB Enhanced Host Controller, next select Power Management, then check - Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Problem solved. The speed of the device is faster than my USB 2.0 slots. The hub can be installed in an external 3.5" drive bay. I tried it, but I prefer to have it on my desktop. I have owned the product about six weeks. So far so good.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Works good if you don't power it. With it powered, PC will not come out of standby. Ports are nicely spaced.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer I thought I'd give this a try, even though many reviews for many usb 3 hubs aren't that good, many reporting lower throughput or disconnections/loss of usb device during high speed transfers. This one is no exception. Works fine as a basic hub but when you put a usb 3 hard drive it'll transfer for a few minutes and then stop. At least the speed was comparable to a direct connect to the motherboard, while it lasted. So wait a while until the next generation of usb 3 hubs comes out.
