Great product. I plugged it into a USB port on my desktop box and booted up a DreamLinux-3.5 live CD. DL detected it perfectly. All I had to do was enter my network info into Wicd, and voila, I was connected to my wireless home network. The only thing negative I can think of is that the nit gets pretty warm, but that's probably due to it's high transmitter power which provides it's great signal distance. So, it's a tradeoff. I prefer it the way it is, so the heat isn't a problem, just an observation. Just make sure you provide enough ventilation for the device. Great product, I'm glad I found it. Oh, and by the way, Meritline's fast shipping is super!

Works fine on my iMac G4 (1ghz iGB Leopard) system but it's slower than my wireless USB adapter on my PC, BUT that may be because the iMac is older and slower. Overall a good value.

Works fine with windows. Spent over a week trying to get it to work with Linux. The CD is pretty much useless. If you have a Linux box, I wouldn't buy this...

Worked as advertised - Good value. I was surprised by the signal strength (it was great!). The drivers/tool set is fair at best.

So far so good with this wireless adapter. It has a very good range and I haven't had any problem. Although it get kind of warm some time, it still is working fine. I run this device about 8 hours some time and almost on a daily basic. Still humming along fine. Very happy with this buy. Have been using it for over a month now.

This product arrived quickly unlike my past mertiline orders which took 3 weeks. The device worked under Linux (Mint Linux version 7) without special drivers to install. I didn't test this under Windows. Signal strength was weak to medium compared to a PCMCIA Dlink which is strong. Not sure if this is due to the device or not. Device gets very warm to hot. Not sure if this will reduce life of the device. I will open it up later.
