It works fine with Canon XTi. But do note that this is an infrared remote --- be careful when working under bright sunlight. Direct sunlight will washout the infrared signals, and this remote will not work well. On top of that, the remote has limited range. You'll be lucky to get 10-12 feet range. PS: I will try to change the internal bias resistor and see if it helps (although this will lower the battery runtime).

Product works great. Small compact and affordable. worked right out the box. Don't pay $40 more just for the brand name, this works just fine. Tested at 5ft, 10ft, 15ft...no problems.

Wonderful product, don't waste you money on the name brand ones! I tried the remote from up to 15 feet and it still picks it up with no problem. It's small and very light weight, fits any where in my camera bag or in my pocket. A GREAT BUY!
