It works. It looks like original item except for writing on it: for pentax. It doesn't have any manual with it, but you don't need manual. It has only one button. It works from 20 feet. I haven't tried taking pictures from longer distance, so I don't know what is it range. To enable remote control on Pentax press fn, arrow up and select remote.
