Meritline.com Verified Buyer This doorbell is decent. It is plenty loud. It can chime or chime and greet in English. The description says it is motion-sensitive but I think it's actually light sensitive. At any rate, the problem I had was once someone came in, it alerted continually until they left(annoying). What I did to fix it was take a stamp-sized piece of copier paper, saturate it with a black marker and tape it over the sensor. I then mounted it to the door closer device with 2-sided adhesive foam. It works well now. I think it gets enough light through from outside when the door opens to alert but then doesn't alert again until the door is opened again.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Not very loud. I got two and one had all the tones as advertised, the other only had one tone, no greeting. Couldn't hear it 20 feet away so useless as intended. If you are closer it'd be OK

Meritline.com Verified Buyer I love this thing. When activated you hear a psychotic sounding robotic female voice saying "Hello, Welcome." Because of this I thought I'd have fun and put it at my gate in a location people would not easily see. So far it's been fun as people have mentioned hearing this over and over as they approach, but can't figure out where it's coming from.
