    Until I found this item, I was unable to use my Xbox 360 HDMI connection due to the size of the standard plugin base. All of the other plugs were partially covering the HDMI jack. Now, I have a crystal clear, big screen picture and digital optical sound.

    Well, this isn't a way to hook your xbox up to a hdmi port on your TV through the old school 'xbox 360 jack' (the other noe, not HDMI) as I thought it was. So basically useless to me. I did use the hdmi cable that came with it to hook up a new xbox via hdmi and that is working fine, this just isn't the item i thought it was.

    Poorly described. This is nothing other than a regular HDMI cable plus a sound adapter that attaches to the consoles regular A?V out port. Depending upon the version of x-box you have (i.e. do you have an HDMI-out port on the back of your x-box), it may not work.

    Great purchase for price. However, fitting the HDMI cable with the AV connector seems a little tight fitting compared to OEM AV kit from Microsoft. I purchased a separate HDMI cable with a thinner plastic casing around the HDMI connector and now it fits perfectly with the AV connector plugged into the XBOX.
