This cable is useless without the transfer dvd, which is not included. Manufacturer intends this to be used with dubious, crash-inducing 3rd party applications (Xport 360 or Xplorer 360). Should have included transfer disc. Not Meritline's most prestigious moment dealing with these Chinese companies.

I could not get this to work. The cable came with the software but it was obvious the software had been "borrowed" from some other company's product. At any rate, when I attached my Xbox hardrive, the software could not read the files. Ended up using a flash drive to move my Xbox files from one hd to another. Save your money!

This is not the OEM Xbox transfer kit. you have to hook it up to your computer to transfer the file through some third party software. Even the software did not recognize my original harddrive. Avoid buying this.

It might work it might not. I ordered it because it says DISK INCLUDED. It took over 2 weeks to arrive and surprise surprise NO DISK in the kit. Contacted Meritline who said it will be sent. I don't intend to try other crappy software with this only what was meant to work with it. So here I am with the new hardrive and the cable kit but the software that was supposed to be included is still pending arrival several weeks later. Can we not have the software posted as download ion meritline!?!?!? This is really ridiculous.
