If you have seen Jumanji: The Next Level film, then you would know that there is going to be a sequel to it. Yes, in one of the credit scenes, Jumanji 4 was teased. For some it’s going to be Jumanji 3, however, it is the fourth film of the Jumanji franchise. There have been two modern instalments released which have proved to be commercial hits. And so the sequel to The Next Level was supposed to happen.
All the Jumanji flicks have been a total blast, with the hilarious and smart writing and direction of Jake Kasdan, and a powerful cast. Even though the shooting hasn’t started, we have tried to bring you all the information possible about Jumanji 3, a sequel to the Next Level.
Jumanji 4 Release Date- When can you See it?
The first two instalments of the Jumanji franchise that is, Welcome to the Jungle and The Next Level got released in December. While the first part was released on 20 December 2017, the next instalment was released two years after, on 13 December 2019.
Keeping the pattern in mind, we can say that the fourth instalment will come out in December 2021. According to Jake Kasdan, the director of the Jumanji series, they are in the early stage of development and it won’t be wrong to say that they have not even started.
And so as of now, aiming a 2021 release is too ambitious. However, we hope that as soon as everyone is settled with respect to the global calamity, they start working.
Jumanji 4 Cast- Who Will be Returning?
The success of the Jumanji- the Next Level partly goes to their star cast which includes Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black. They will be returning in their Jumanji characters for sure. A sequel without them is not possible.
The main team will be joined by some unlucky players like Madison Iseman, Alex Wolff, Morgan Turner, and Ser’Darius Blain. Apart from them, we also expect the return of Danny Glover as Milo, Nick Jonas, Colin Hanks and Awkwafina s other Jumanji avatars.
Jumanji 4: End of The Next Level- Plot Details
So Jumanji: The Next Level ended with the entry of the Jumanji game world into the real world. And so this sequel will pick up from here, where Spencer and his team will be trying to solve this problem. And this means that they might have to go back to the Jumanji game world to get all the explorers back.
Even though this plot is complete speculation, we will like to stick with it until Kasdan reveals some information about it.
Jumanji 4 Trailer- Is there a Teaser?
It is too soon to look for a trailer or even a teaser. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the production is shut completely and so we will have to wait for a few months to get some good news regarding the shoot.
If we take the December 2021 as the probable date for the release of the Jumanji: The Next Level sequel, then the first trailer might drop-in July 2021. Till then, check out the trailer of The Next Level here.
