Outlander Season 6- When Is It Releasing?
The CEO and President of Starz, Chris Albert announced back on 9 May 2018, that the show will come back for the sixth season. In his statement he said that the fans should be assured that Jamie and Claire, their bellowed characters will be back in season five and six, facing new adventures, challenges and adversaries. Once again the two will dig into American history as the story of Frasers continues in the New World.
The release of Outlander Season 5 was pushed a bit from late 2019 to early 2020. And so we can expect the Outlander Season 6 to premiere later in this year or in 2021.
Outlander- Cast of Season 6
The push of the new season might disappoint the fans but there is good news for all of them. The major stars will be returning in their respective roles for Season 6. So Sam Heughan will be reprising his role of the Scottish heartthrob, Jamie Fraser while Caitriona Balfe will return as his wife Claire Fraser. Apart from these two, the other cast members include Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin as Brianna Randall Fraser and Roger Wakefield, as her husband.
Outlander Season 6- Plot Details
Right now the Season 5 of the show is on air and so we cannot say much about the story of the upcoming season. But we know one thing for sure that Outlander Season 6 is based on the book titled “A Breath of Snow and Ashes”, which is the sixth book of Diana Gabaldon’s series.
According to the producer, they keep one book per season. But they have also considered splitting the books or combining them. And it’s better that we don’t have much information about the plot details because something’s better not known.
