Storage geysers, or water heaters, are best for homes where a large amount of hot water is needed. This could be for houses with bathtubs, or where the geyser ties into multiple bathrooms or perhaps a bathroom and a kitchen. They are generally more expensive to run and are more expensive to buy, but for homes that need a lot of hot water, they’re the best option.
Croma 25-litre storage water geyser
To start with, we’d recommend the Croma CRLH25LGYF254205. It has a massive, 25-litre capacity and uses 2000W of power to heat the stored water. The design is simple and robust, with a tonne of built-in safety features. The tank itself is made of steel and glassline coated, while the outer body is powder coated. The 8-bar water pressure rating makes this geyser suitable for high-rise buildings with high water pressure. You can get this geyser on Croma for Rs 8,999.
Bajaj Maestro 15-litre storage water geyser
We like the Bajaj Maestro for its chic design and 5-star rating for energy efficiency. Unlike most geysers, this one comes with a two-tone finish and a dimpled exterior that will look good in an expensive bathroom. You can get it in capacities ranging from six litres to 25 litres, and it’s rated to 8 bars of water pressure. Operation can be completely automatic, allowing you access to hot water on demand at any time of the day or night. The 15-litre variant is available on Croma for Rs 9,900.
Havells Bianca 25-litre storage water geyser

It’s water, corrosion, and splash resistant and even has an IPX4 rating. Interestingly, the Havells Bianca (Rs 13,490) uses whirl flow technology, which prevents direct contact between hot and cold water to prevent them from mixing and ensuring that you get access to properly heated water at all times.
