this item is great, illuminated whole rooms, my wife uses it to read with. only minor fault is band could be bigger

What it is: 5-LED headlight, powered by 3 AAA batteries. the LED can slip off of the headband and be portable, and has a magnet on the bottom so you can stick it to the sides of metal objects. There are 3 modes of the LED's; all on, all blinking, or each one blinking in order so it makes a back and forth pattern (think KITT). The Good: the magnet works fine for me. sticks to anything metal, including my refrigerator. the LEDs are pretty bright, about the same as my energizer light. the light angle is stuck in only one position, you can't angle it, but it's in almost the perfect angle for me. The Bad: construction quality is very poor. the battery case is held on by a tab which is meant to flex but it breaks before it flexes. so it will either be REALLY difficult to get the batter compartment off, or it will be too easy, and every time you go to take the light off the headband, the front of the headlight will pull out of the back (where the battery compartment is). if you're loo

I got this as something to throw in my cars emergency kit. If you ever have to change a tire, this will be an asset. Good enough for cheap price.

I planned to use this as a lamp to read and see the keys on the notebook computer after I switched off the lights on the night so as not to disturb the spouse. The LED produces a white light. but that is it. This is a really cheap and flimsy head lamp. The battery compartment cover looks like it might not last very long. The magnet is really useless and will not hold the lamp on my refrigerator with the batteries in. Head Band is just a regular elastic band with a slide in groves. Over all the unit is ok for the $2.99 price. Got what i paid for.

So far, this has been a very good value. My son uses the light during for camp outs and he favors the light weight and durability. Don't expect a flashlight-like beam, but the output is good for its small size.

it is very bright light nice head bend stays in place angle of the light is perfect but the construction quality is very poor but for the price you can not expect more
