Caesars Palace now provides an opulent arrival experience befitting a Caesar now that the long-awaited renovation project of its original main entrance, porte-cochère, and iconic casino dome is complete. A dramatic foyer with a vaulted ceiling, updated gaming rooms, and a great addition in the form of Galleria Bar in the lobby of the hotel are all features of the newly renovated location.
Caesars Entrance Renovation is Finally Complete
Visitors of Caesars Palace now go through a brightly lighted area with a renovated ceiling and an exquisite floor made up of marble mosaic. Visitors are greeted with a huge Augustus Caesar statue made of Carrara marble beneath the elevated ceiling’s hand-painted images of Roman deities and a magnificent chandelier made of 70 thousand crystals.
Caesars Palace’s construction was completed in 1966, and ever since then, the company has been motivated by founder Jay Sarno’s vow to treat each visitor like a true Caesar, according to Sean McBurney, regional president of Caesars Entertainment. The company strives to provide experiences that are unique to its flagship resort from the minute tourists arrive. The opulent entrance is just one of several upcoming renovations at Caesars Palace, including the Stanton Social Prime, Dominique Ansel Las Vegas, and Peter Luger Steakhouse. And it’s not the only new addition to a Caesars location that was completed this year, as the legendary Hell’s Kitchen restaurant is already open to all the visitors of Caesars Atlantic City. The restaurant’s entrance is close to the slot machines on the second floor.
Two brand-new, cutting-edge gaming pits are located outside the front door for visitors. A new, bigger crystal chandelier with 12,000 individual crystals that weighs around 3,200 pounds has also been added to Caesars Palace’s renowned, crystal-covered casino dome. An additional 120,000 crystals are found in the chandelier’s linear beams that emanate from it. The domed gaming room features everything visitors adored about the famous original establishment with a contemporary twist thanks to over $1 million in crystals, bright and stylish lighting, and renovated ceiling.
Another pleasant addition is the hotel lobby’s Galleria Bar, which has 24 chairs and 22 slot machines so that visitors can relax with a beverage while they wait to check in Caesar’s brand-new bar has four giant Venus statues and a backdrop of cerused wood with antique gold touches, various mirrors, and inlaid wood paintings from Italy. It is designed to resemble a palatial Italian study.
