A new coronavirus disease (COVID19) has led to the outbreak in the whole nation and everyone is been scared against this deadly virus. The cases of COVID-19 have been increasing day-by-day and now the virus seems to spread in Madhya Pradesh as well.

In Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district, An FIR was registered on Saturday, against a man who, despite having travelled to a foreign country, apparently avoided screening. He was tested positive for the coronavirus.

Two members of his family also verified positive corona on Friday, and eight of his employees are alleged to have caught the contamination as well.

Along with his 2 family members, eight employees of his work has also under suspicion of having corona according to a senior official.

According to Bharat Yadav, the man returned from Dubai on 16 March 2020 has not kept himself in isolation. He also failed to make him check for the screening of corona.

On Friday, Madhya Pradesh logged its first case of coronavirus with four persons having a positive test in Jabalpur city. All the  22 persons who worked at the man’s shop were checked, and eight of them had symptoms of coronavirus. Their test reports were awaited, Yadav said.

Case was lodged against the Man

A case was listed against the man under IPC sections 188 (defying lawful order of a public servant) and 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), Yadav said.

The administration is tracking down all those who came in contact with him, the collector added.

The eight employees with virus symptoms were isolated at the district hospital, he said services except those engaged in the supply of essential goods.

Bhopal reports first Covid-19 case

A 26-year-old woman from Bhopal has tested positive for Covid-19 and the news was confirmed by AIIMS, Bhopal on Sunday. The patient seems to have travel history to the UK and she made a return to Bhopal three days back.

On the lines of Jabalpur, Rewa, Seoni and Narsinghpur, the capital of state MP have also been put to lockdown for three days.
Madhya Pradesh has reported five cases till now; four in Jabalpur and one in Bhopal. While the test report of 12 patients is still awaited.

Safety Measures Against Coronavirus

In this situation of the pandemic, one needs to stay calm and as advised by the government of India, one should stay at home to be safe. And the best way to do so is to make yourself quarantine.

  • Always wash your hands with soap and sanitizer.
  • Eat immunity boosters like ginger, turmeric, fenugreek seeds etc.
  • If you have a minor cough, seek medical advice.
  • Avoid handshake
  • Do not go out to the masses in the group.
  • Wear masks if you go outside
  • Avoid visiting outside.
  • Make your clothes sundry.

The district authority has given commands regarding the termination of all city markets and clogged the bus and transport. This is done until the effect of coronavirus mitigates.
