And one of the Netflix users has come across a show called “My Secret, Terrius” that talked about Coronavirus in one of its episodes.
Yes, isn’t it a bizarre coincidence, that the pandemic which is affecting the entire world today, it was predicted by a Korean drama series two years back.
My Secret Terrius- Coronavirus Scene Freaks out Viewers
My Secret Terrius is a Korean drama released in 2018 available on Netflix, though you cannot access it in India. In the 10th episode of the first season, the show predicted the outbreak of Coronavirus.
People also related this pandemic situation to Contagion, a film by Steven Soderbergh that came out in 2011 having the same storyline.
The plot of this South Korean drama series revolves around a secret agent that separates himself from the world, trying to unravel the mystery behind the death of his neighbour. However in the tenth episode of the first season, at about 53 mins after the start, the doctor is seen discussing with another character of the show about a “mutant coronavirus” and how it can be used as a weapon. They feel that it has been mutated and tweaked to increase the mortality rate to about 90 per cent.
The two then talk about the other coronavirus like MERS which led to an epidemic in 2015. However later they even discuss the incubation period of the virus i.e., 14 days and how it can attack the lungs of a person immediately after exposure.
Lastly, the doctor says that there is no cure for the disease.
