The Haunting of Bly Manor Season 2- What’s the Story About?
The Haunting of Bly Manor will have the backdrop of “The Turn of the Screw” novel by Henry James, from the 19th century. In the novel, Henry follows the very same stream of corset wearing Americans having life-time of experience on their European vacations, spooky-ghostly experience.
And so the story of Bly Manor revolves around an idealistic governess who goes to Bly Manor, a secluded country house with a mysterious man to take care of the man’s niece and nephew. The man, however, stays in the city and instructs the governess not to contact him ever.
Knowing the horror attached to the house, the decision seems to be right on his behalf. The governess too has a great time with the two students, until she starts witnessing mysterious people marauding the house. And these people have long been dead. She sights the ghost of Peter Quint, and Miss Jessel. And soon the youngest kid too, starts to see the ghosts. And the story further continues. Though the plot hasn’t been revealed yet, it’s going to be a super foundation for the writers to build upon.
The Haunting of Bly Manor- Release Date
The next installment of The Haunting of the Hill House is going to be released this year. The makers have tweeted and confirmed the news. Apart from knowing that this new chapter will be coming out in 2020, we don’t know much. But we are sure that whatever time it will be, it’s going to be the spookiest time of the year.
Also, the trailer of Bly Manor is not released, but we are expecting it to drop a month before the launch.
The Haunting of the Hill House Season 2- Who Will Be There?
The new season is going to be a fresh story, a fresh setting, but still, you will be able to identify with some old cast members. Victoria Pedretti who played the role of Nellie Crain will be returning with her twin Oliver Jackson Cohen. She won’t be playing the previous role, but thanks to Netflix we know that she is going to be the governess this time.
Henry Thomas will also be returning to the show, though his role is not yet known.
