After the successful mutilation of 14 seasons and the term “un-sub” being thrown approximately every four minutes, the beloved crime series titled Criminal Minds has reached its 15th and final season. The last season will air with just 10 episodes with heavily feature a long time.

When does ‘Criminal Minds’ Season 15 Premiere?

The last season of Criminal Minds will premiere on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at 9 p.m. E.S.T. and is going to be a two-hour premiere. Fans are really excited to see how the final 10 episodes are going to take a turn. The premiere will feature two episodes that will air consecutively. It will then air for one hour every Wednesday evening at 9 p.m.

What can you expect in season 15 Criminal Minds Premiere Episode?

It is only a few weeks to go until the last-ever season premiere for Criminal Minds, CBS has already dropped the first promo for the final season.

In the premiere, you will witness that everyone’s favorite BAU agents are going to track down a serial killer. Further apparently, guest stars will come into play as well. The premiere episode is titled as “Under the Skin” and will show an unsub resembling The Chameleon, or Everett Lynch

In the promo for the Criminal Minds Season 15 Episode 1, it can be seen that Agent Prentiss says in the promo “Whoever we’re dealing with is still clearly on the hunt,” and Agent Rossi is heard saying: “He has no true identity.” This definitely sounds they are discussing here the Chameleon. A creepy song keeps on playing in the background.

Criminal Minds Season 15 Upcoming Episode 2 Spoilers- Awakenings

The second episode, called “Awakenings,” is going to being trouble for a member of the Behavioral Analysis Unit. Someone is likely to end up in the hospital while others will be seen in the search of Lynch as well as his daughter Grace.

Luckily, fans are also going to have some good goofy moments. Dr. Spencer Reid will visit with his mother Diana and fans can hope something good for both of them.

The trailer also confirms a long-held fan theory that something is going to happen to JJ. In another promo released, it was seen that Reid is trying to get hold of JJ, saying, “JJ, what’s your location? JJ, do you copy?” while JJ’s body is flung across the room, landing roughly on the ground.

Will Jane Lynch be part of the final season?

Thankfully, yes Lynch who had been playing Reid’s genius mom on and off since the very first season; her character, Diana, suffers from schizophrenia, and Reid had Diana committed when he became an adult. In season 12, Diana was kidnapped, and after she was saved by the BAU she and Reid had an emotional reunion.
