In the movie, Karen is one of the members of the Plastics and was the roommate of John Bennett. She is extremely ditzy and used to be completely clueless on many occasions. At the end of the movie, Karen becomes a weather girl who uses her breasts to get an idea about a rainy weather situation.

She is the main character of the movie who spends her teens in Africa getting homeschooled by her parents named Chip and Betsy Heron who was conducting research on Zoology in Africa. During her first day at North Shore High, she ends up eating alone in the bathroom stalls without any friends until she becomes friends with Janis who teaches her how to settle at the school. She wanted to use Cady’s friendship to take revenge on Regina but Regina and her gang of girls seemed nice to her but realized that she is quite self-obsessed and power-hungry as well. She found her love interest with Aaron Samuels who was one of the popular and handsome guys on campus.

Aaron is one of the hottest and the most popular guys and one of the senior players on the football and soccer team at the North Shore High School. He lives with his mother and spends time helping her out with home chores. He can be seen sitting in front of Cady Heron in Ms. Norbury’s calculus class and developing for her. He invites Cady to a Halloween party at his home. Regina who was his ex-girlfriend finds about Aaron being interested in her and gets very jealous and goes to Aaron’s party to win him back. Cady tells him about Regina was cheating on him with Shane Oman and ends up dating Cady.

Janis Ian is one of the main characters of the movie and the first person Cady meets after becoming a student at North Shore High.
