Last night the hit drama of CBS, Criminal Minds returned with an all-new episode 7, called “Rusty,” So we are here with the weekly Criminal Minds recap. In previous episode 7 of Criminal Minds season 15 episode 7 we witnessed that the “The BAU team traveled to Denver for investigating the several murders. Prentiss, on the other hand, was forced to evaluate her relationship with Special Agent Andrew Mendoza.”

Criminal Minds Season 15 Episode 7 Written Update- Rusty

The episode began with Prentiss being sad after receiving a bouquet of flowers from Andrew. She was all the time lost in thought during a budget meeting. On the other hand, unsub took the heads as three men were killed and decapitated in Denver. After when the third killing happened, he recorded a video message on the victim’s phone: “Everything you know is wrong, and this is proof.” The unsub was seen taking advice from a demon. Prentiss shuts down any discussion of that topic and told Andrew to talk when the case gets over. The unsub targeted the father figures and took another victim by imprinting a mathematical formula onto the victims.

Criminal Minds Season 15 Episode 7 Recap- Mandela Effect

Andrew was affected by the shared false memory phenomenon known as the Mandela Effect. Andrew later confronted Emily about her recent behavior and admits that a long-distance relationship is harder than she expected. The unsub later attacked another man and took his two teen children hostage. The unsub is George Kyle Peters, whose son Ethan was decapitated in a car crash seven years ago.

Criminal Minds Season 15 Episode 7 Review

Kyle, as you know, had been in a coma and Brenda had worked with Kyle. She has also been extorting money from single fathers to secure custody. Brenda pointed out a remote area where Kyle took his son on weekends. The BAU finds the cave where Kyle was holding the teens. Prentiss stays behind and joins Andrew and his daughter for dinner.

There is much to look forward to the upcoming episode of Criminal Minds season 15 episode 8 and it begins with — the future is key. It seems JJ and Prentiss have a lot of work to do in order to figure out what their future holds. Will they remain at the BAU? We saw some of this with Prentiss tonight as she could contemplate moving closer to Mendoza.

In the next episode, it seems there is a possibility that JJ and Prentiss may actually bid goodbye to their beloved jobs. Prentiss and J.J. will have to face the important decisions about their futures as the BAU travels to Beaumont, Texas.  Meanwhile, there they will be investigating a series of murdered businessmen.

This episode seems to be the last installment before we get to the two-part series finale. So there is much to notice about the happenings like learning more about Emily and JJ’s future and also how the story of Lynch unfolds.
