If you not using Windows or Android Operating system, and instead of using the Safari browser then we have all the steps that will help you stop the notification access requests. We have divided it into parts- one for the Mac platform and the second for iOS smartphones.
For Mac OS-
Step 1- Open Safari. From the dropdown menu, click on Preferences.
Step 2- Then click on Websites> Notifications from the menu on the left side.
Step 3- A list of websites will be displayed that have permissions to send notifications. You can change your preferences here.
Step 4- At the bottom of the window, there is an option that says-“Allow all websites to ask for permission to send push notifications.”Uncheck the box beside this option.
Step 5- You can also mute the notifications from Safari. Click on Preferences> Notifications> Safari> Safari Alert Style> None.
For iOS-
The Operating system manages the Safari’s settings which are embedded deep. You can follow the steps given-
Step 1- Open the Settings of your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2- Navigate to the Settings of your device. Click on Privacy, followed by Location Services.
Step 3- Lastly, go to the Safari Website’s Settings and change it to Never.
Block Notification Access Requests in Chromium Edge
If you are using the attest Chromium-based Edge, follow the given steps to clock the notification access requests.
Step 1- Open Settings by clicking on the three vertical dots.
Step 2- On the left-side menu, click on Site Settings. Then from the list of options on the right–side, click on Notifications.
