You’re probably wondering what a vlogger is. To keep it simple, it’s anyone that holds an account on YouTube. Most of them are normal kids and young adults with charisma to spare, and some of them are full-grown adults that have turned on their webcams and proven to be clever and charismatic enough to make a living from posting videos to YouTube. From vloggers in fashion and beauty to YouTube stars just wanting to share their stories, here are some of the best YouTube vlogs around as voted on by the viewers.

If you’re a big fan of a particular vlogger and want to be able to access their videos offline, you’ll want to use the Airy app. This app can download an individual video and can even download the entire channel of your favorite YouTuber. Here’s how:

Airy

  1. Start by downloading the Airy app to your Mac. The first two times you download it will be free
  2. Copy the URL of the chosen channel
  3. Paste the link into the Airy interface and choose the download format
  4. Click on Download to get started

So who do you think is the best YouTube vlogger? YouTube stars cover a wide range of age, gender, sexual orientation, interests, and topics. The best ones are inspiring and interesting but, most of all, entertaining.

Take a look through our list of the top 10 YouTube vlogs and tell us which one is your favorite.

PewDiePie

  • 54.1 million subscribers

PewDiePie is known for being enigmatic, playing through video games, and having a mouth like a sailor as he does so. PewDiePie – the online alias of 27-year-old Felix Kjellberg from Sweden – has taken his charism and the close relationship he has with his fans (his “bros”) and turned it into a career built around being a YouTube vlogger. PewDiePie was recently in the news for all the wrong reasons when a report in the Wall Street Journal described some anti-Semitic messages in his videos, causing YouTube and Disney (one of his sponsors) to cut ties with him. He wasn’t completely banned from YouTube however and is still there. PewDiePie publicly apologized for taking his jokes too far, but he maintains the right to joke about any topic he chooses and, in the middle of a video response to the media, flipped the bird. PewDiePie actually saw an increase in subscribers following the incident and says he is excited about being able to pursue new opportunities as an independent creator able to make anything he wants.

HolaSoyGerman

Germán Garmendia from Chile is the biggest YouTube star out of Latin America. Germán has two channels where he shares his music and comedy, both of which are among the top 20 channels on YouTube. He rose to infamy with his video titled “Las Cosas Obvias De La Vida”, which translates to “The Obvious Things in Life” and released a book titled #Chupaelperro in 2016. Outside of his main HolaSoyGerman channel, Garmendia has another channel called JuegaGerman. This channel – which is centered around video games – has 18 million subscribers.

Roman Antwood

Roman Antwood is a prankster that found fame on YouTube by becoming the vlogging equivalent of Ashton Kutcher. Antwood’s channel has a very Punk’d vibe to it, in which he pranks his friends and family. He is no stranger to controversy himself, getting in hot water when he tricked his girlfriend and made her think that he had killed their child. Yes, folks, that’s a thing that really happened. Sometimes “It’s just a prank bro” doesn’t excuse the behavior.

Rhett and Link

Rhett and Link (real names Rhett McLaughlin and Charles Lincoln Neal III) run their channel called Good Mythical Morning. The series, which parodies breakfast news-style programs, has attracted over eight million subscribers and is a smash hit. These YouTube stars both have their own engineering degrees and have been best friends since their childhood. Almost half of the money they make from YouTube comes from sponsorships, including making ridiculous commercials for a business or product. It’s genius if you think about it.

Michelle Phan

If you’re a fan of YouTube makeup tutorials then you probably already know about the YouTube vlogs of the 28-year-old Michelle Phan. Michelle Phan is a self-taught makeup artist that decided to start a channel in which she shows people how to apply makeup to mimic the looks of different characters and celebrities. She is most well-known for her tutorials on how to look like Lady Gaga, Angeline Jolie, and Game of Thrones character Daenerys Targaryen. If you want to know how to look like your favorite celebrity then tune into this star.

Lindsey Stirling

The fourth name on our list of the biggest YouTube stars is the dancing violinist Lindsey Stirling. That’s right; she plays the violin and dances at the same time. Given that no one here can do either of those things we understand what makes her such a big deal. She’s such a big star that she got the chance to perform with John Legend. Lindsey burst onto the scene when she reached the quarter-finals of America’s Got Talent in 2010. She has released her own music, reaching number 2 on the Billboard charts with her 2014 album Shatter Me. Throw in the millions of YouTube subscribers she’s got and it’s plain to see how the dancing violinist could become one of the top 10 YouTube vlogs in town.

NigaHiga

Ryan Higa – better known by his username NigaHiga – was one of the first real YouTube stars. Higa publishes a lot of comedy videos including music videos, short pop-culture commentaries, and general comedy sketches. What makes NigaHiga stand out is that his videos have a high production value and a real professional touch. Even so, he is as quick-witted and funny as he’s ever been. It all goes together to create a fantastic combination.

JennaMarbles

Jenna Mourey, better known as JennaMarbles, has become a household name on YouTube. While she got her start with BarStool Sports, JennaMarbles made the move to videos with her video titled “How to Trick People Into Thinking You’re Good Looking”. The video exploded in popularity and began a channel of comedic videos about what it’s like to be one of the young millennial women that are apparently ruining everything. It seems like creating YouTube vlogs is one of the few things that millennials aren’t killing.

Alife Deyes

Alfie Deyes, the “better half” of Zoella, runs a few YouTube channels of his own. Alfie heads up PointlessBlog, PointlessBlogTy, and AlfieGames. Alfie released The Pointless Book in 2014 and is set to release even more books in the future. Alfie has amassed a strong following not just on YouTube, but in other forms of social media as well. He’s garnered over a million followers on Twitter and over two million on Instagram. It’s really no wonder that Yahoo! News named him one of the 12 web-savvy entrepreneurs to watch in 2013.

Sprinkle of Glitter/Louise Pentland

Louse Pentland is an eccentric blogger, to say the least. A graduate of John Moores University and a married mother, Louise makes YouTube vlogs about cosmetics, interior design, and the sparkly glittery things that catch her eye. She’s also best friends with Zoella, which is a nice achievement in itself.
