I recommend this very small nano router. It is so tiny and only about the size of a couple of paper matchbooks. I got it up and running in minutes as a router. It includes a USB cable and even a small AC to USB adapter. I say quit looking and just BUY IT! Also Edimax has been around a very long time and makes quality low cost networking gear. Stephen Krex

Great little router! WISP is a nice feature. I was able to watch HDX video. USB power is a good option also. Good for devices that do not support WiFi.

Reset button doesn't do anything. IP to access management page is 192.168.2.1 and the instructions clearly state that you'll be given an address on the 192.168.2 subnet yet it would only give me an IP on 192.168.1 so there's no route to the management page. Disappointing.

Tiny router works well. My son is using it as an AP to connect his Xbox to our home network. Not sure the WPS/Reset button works as planned, though. Push it and the device goes dead as if you pulled the power. Otherwise, it works as expected and is a bargain for the price.

Received the router within 2 weeks of ordering it and for the price I paid for I, I am amazed at the features.

This little gadget is AWESOME! Easy to configure as router or repeater; it does everything it promises. Incredible support from Edimax - their tech support woman spent way too much time getting my system up and running, mostly due to my errors and idiosyncrasies. Their website-based configuration help is far superior to the DVD that's included. Two badger-paws WAY up for this little gem! Highly recommended!

This is a great device! I tried the router functions and they worked perfectly. The coolest thing (IMO) is the "Stastion Infrastructure" mode - it connects anything with an ethernet port to your wireless network - game consoles and PRINTERS. I wanted to relocate my older ethernet connected laser printer but there was no network connection - I used the Edimax BR-8258n to connect it to my wireless network - works PERFECTLY! I ordered 4 more just to have handy.

Excellent travel router on the road. Very small and easy to setup. The range is surprisingly suffiscient. The only funny part is that the power supply is bigger than the router...

Works pretty well for the size, limited distances as you would expect with no external antenna. Note, that it will NOT run without a power source (either the included brick or off the USB port on a computer), even though the sale materials appear to indicate it will run just off the RJ45 connector. The only other downside is that, as other reviewers have noted, it is slow to reboot, which is kind of aggravating. Worth the 24 simolians paid for being able to travel with it.
